Full disclosure I got this adapter at no cost as a Vine reviewer. I did a test drive with my Canon R6 Mark 2 and a Canon EFS18-55 Macro lens. This adapter is well made, and works as expected. Locks in easily and snuggly, with no issues. A good value for the money you can see the set up and a photo I took with it in lens macro. I see no issues with this adapter. It also attaches to my "L" red ring Canon glass with no issues. Good deal for the money.

This adapter works. Functionally it is just like the OEM. Use EF lenses on an RF body. I only take a star off because the build quality is a step down. Just doesn't have the same feel as OEM. But good value

Over the years, we have thousands invested in EF lenses, so when we finally pulled the trigger on a mirrorless R10, we were happy to find adapters so we didn't have to sell/scrap our old lenses.This adapter worked great right out of the box, and the lost cost ($50 at review time) was a small price to pay when you consider we didn't have to replace a whole bag of older lenses.

I'm gradually using my R5 more and more, which means I'm taking my old EF and EF-S lenses into the field and I don't want to mess with swapping out lenses and adapters, so I'm trying to add adapters onto my most-used EF lenses. This adapter has good build quality; initially it was very tight fitting it onto the lens but it loosened up a little with use. Still tight, but my goal is not to be removing it from the lens. Fits fine on the camera, and even my EF-S 10-22mm lens worked great with the R5. There is no control ring. There is a small tripod adapter underneath the adapter.

This adaptor works excellently. All my current lenses work with my new camera. This adaptor has saved me from buying all new lenses.
