I really wanted this to work because I really liked the space saving aspect of it, and also being able to grab an egg without having to open the little egg drawer in my fridge. It assembled just fine, but the top row never moved down to the bottom without a bit of pushing. I think maybe the eggs I buy are just not heavy enough to roll down to the next level. Otherwise, it seemed sturdy enough and the design is clever.

Engineered very poorly. Eggs will not make it to lower level and if you force them eggs will break.

I was looking for a way to store my eggs without taking up as much space in the refrigerator, and this looked like a great solution.I typically use “large†eggs, and this storage container holds 13-14 eggs. At first, when I assembled the container, I thought it felt kind of flimsy but, when I just took it out of the refrigerator to take a couple of photos, it didn’t feel flimsy…I can’t explain my differing impressions. To keep track of the “best by†date, I write the date, in pencil, on the first egg for that section and try to remember to use the one behind it so I don’t have to transfer the date to the next egg (or write the date on every egg).All-in-all, I think this is a good product and does its job. There’s not anything unique about it, compared to others I viewed but, if you’re looking for a way to store your eggs with less space, this is one you should consider.

I have a family member who frequently uses a wheelchair due to being mostly paralyzed on one side. The other day I looked in the fridge and noticed they had a plastic egg holder on the shelf, similar to the carton eggs come in. What caught my attention was that the last few eggs were all the way to the back of the fridge. I figured they would be difficult for them to reach.Shortly after that, I came across this dispenser and thought 'what a great replacement.' Having eggs more easily reachable would be a nice ability. It snapped together pretty easy, although the instructions could be improved a bit; or at least parts marked for correct orientation. And I'm going to deduct one star because although it has points for rubber/silicone feet on the bottom, there are none and so it has a tendency to slide easily. I'd also recommend if filling it when empty, to load a few eggs in the bottom before finish filling using the top shelf to prevent cracking. But considering that it's narrower than the previous holder, it did save a bit of space.I was going to give this 4-stars despite some of my previous points. But at $13, I find it's a bit expensive. However, I still recommend, and they are having an easier time accessing eggs.

The Egg Dispenser comes disassembled in a box. Assembly was straightforward after following the recommended order of assembly, which was pictorially shown on the side of the box. I did anticipate a problem at one point when I noticed how the slots underneath the top rack were deformed in a concave manner. It proved to be a nonissue, however, as the seeming deformity served to secure the two side risers better.Loading this dispenser is initially best done from the bottom. Adding eggs from the top would result in them building up speed as they traveled the entire length of the raceway and slamming into the bottom egg. With an 18-egg carton to work with, I started pushing eggs along the bottom one at a time until I got to the ramp. From that point on, I loaded the dispenser from the top starting at the back above the ramp. I was able to load 15 large eggs into the dispenser in this manner.The white LUXXO DESIGN egg dispenser takes up little more than the width of an egg in my refrigerator thus providing room for more dairy shelf items. Rather than removing an entire egg carton from the refrigerator when cooking, I can now efficiently reach in and extract each egg as needed.Any time I can make refrigerator storage more efficient, that’s a good thing.
