I needed an egg separator for some diet changes we are doing now due to diet restrictions. I am able to separate the yolks from the whites but you have to tip it around to get the yolks to separate and the whites to fall into the bowl, but it works. I am glad something like this exists!

The thick whites needed to be rocked back and forth to move them, then it wouldn't stay hooked over the bowl and the yolks slid out. It took twice as long as just using the eggs shells. I'm glad I didn't pay more. It will probably last forever, which is what I wanted.

I am very pleased with these. Nice size and a small bend at the end keeps it in place on the cup or bowl while dropping the egg in. Very easy to clean as well.
