Well combed cotton fibers. If you are a beginner, it would probably be best to combine this cotton with a longer length fiber like linen or wool before spinning it up into yarn because cotton will always have a very short staple length. That said, this combed top spins up very smoothly and easily drafted. You might want to pre-draft a bit when first starting.

Great for crafting, expensive I thought but it depends on what your using it for. I made little animals ðŸ˜

I love the feel of this product. It is wonderfully soft. I have noticed a few tiny pieces of brown debris in the fiber. I believe it is probably pieces of the cotton plant that were not completely removed. That would be my guess.

This is a wonderful fiber, and I'm having a LOT of fun spinning it, but it is very light and delicate. If you're new to spinning, this should probably not be your first fiber.

I should have read the specifications more closely. But for $12.95 I figured it would be at least a 12†bag. Not this teeny 5†bag. I’m not using it for spinning but rather for crafting combined with papier-mâché. There’s just such a small quantity for the price. I can buy cotton balls for a lot less.

Came just like shown my only gripe is that it's not easy to use on an electric spinner but that's not the company's fault lol that's mine for not being good enough to run it in the machine. The Fiber though is so wonderfully soft like it's true awesome!

Wow! Like spinning a cloud. So soft and lofty! I can't wait to get it spun up to knit with! Lovely! I wish there were larger lots offered though.
