2000ml capacity crystalizing dish made of high quality, heavy duty Borosilicate 3.3 glass. Features flat base, and beaded rim. Spout for easy pouring. Dish measures 4.1" tall, and has an outer diameter of 7.3".

Autoclavable, with superior chemical durability. Low temperature gradient- can withstand high temperatures & thermal shocks. Eisco Labs Borosilicate glass has the following heat tolerances: Strain Point -515°C | Annealing Point 565°C | Softening Point 820°C.

Excellent product that fits in my 6 qt Instant Pot and allows me to make fromage blanc yogurt cheese. I love it. It holds a half gallon (8 cups) of milk. I use two aluminum foil slings during the entire process to remove the crystallizing dish with milk after steaming. I cool the sterilized milk to 86 degrees F., add the culture, wait 3 minutes, gently stir to distribute, use the two slings to return the crystallizing dish to the Instant Pot and hit the yogurt cycle. The fromage blanc yogurt making takes place in this awesome dish. I wish the dish was a little taller. I am glad a found it. Instant Pot, you should get together with this company and create borosilicate containers that are little taller that fit the 3, 6 and 8 qt Instant Pots for yogurt making. I used the stainless steel Instant Pot insert to make yogurt and the cleanup is a mess. I also made yogurt in the other insert Instant Pot sells and still, the cleanup was arduous.This borosilicate glass cleans up in a breeze.
