It's hard to find a true meter stick that's pure metric. This one is pure metric (both sides) and looks really good. The scale is easy to read.

I like that it's about a meter long with graduated markings in metric! (its actually exactly 1 meter long)

I use this product to measure in freedom units because I'm tired of majoring in the Kings oppressive imperial foot. One thing I dislike about it though it's not made out of the material of wolverine's bones just normal common everyday wood but it's sturdy. The box Amazon shipped it in was ridiculously oversized.

This is a well made meter stick! The meter stick is thick enough to hold its shape. The numbers are easy to read on both sides. The metal ends are also well made. I use the meter stick to help children program robots (the movement instructions are in centimeters).

I purchased this not only for measurement but to get a better visualization of a meter. Having grown up with yard sticks I figured, correctly, that this would make the concept of "one meter" clearer. I have to say that this stick is very well made and I expect it to last.

This is a proper metric meter stick with metal wear guards on both ends. It has clear and durable looking silk screening and it is properly reversed...meaning when you flip it width-wise it is the same as rotating it length-wise.

The wooden ruler is exactly what was needed and is as described. The packaging has obviously been improved following earlier reviews however the tape sealing one end had not been positioned correctly and it slide out when the delivery guy picked it up. There was no problem or damage but there could have been.

When the meter stick arrived the box looked like it was beaten up.The meter stick itself arrived and was snapped.Not worth trying to get money back because shipping alone is 3x the cost as it was to purchase. It's now a $20 fire starter.
