The pieces are too large to show much. You need a large magnet to see the magnetic field, and even then, there’s not much to see. Better to use iron filings or magnetic field film.

Fantastic board to teach my kids about magnets and to see how the magnetic fields interact between different magnets. Very useful!

The product is o.k. but has a very low sensitivity and accuracy.It can be use only as a toy or general demonstration in middle schools.Not recommended if you want to investigate magnetic field property.
