The springs have different spring constants and are large enough (14-21 cm) to use with our class physics experiments on spring force and elastic energy.

My sons like various bits and bobs to build and create with. These have been used to make everything from robots to a quick repair on a door. The set is a good price for the package and the overall quality is good for the set. I’d absolutely buy more or in a different sized set. They’re very versatile

I've already found a use for several of the springs and am pleasantly impressed with the quality and consistency of the springs. Nice parts for automotive and home use.

These are very weak - slinky weak. Which is fine - they're going to work for physics and waves and measurements - but they didn't measure up to what was published. Let's see if he corrects the values. Still waiting for the refund to hit 2-1/2 weeks after Amazon issued it "early" - WHAT IS THIS - 1920??

I ordered these for a lab for my Algebra 2 students to look at types of relationships (direct, indirect, joint, and compound) and used some of the spring equations to do so. Having the different springs gave each student a different spring constant and ensured that all their numbers would be different so they couldn't copy each others work directly.

Great for Hooke's Law experimentation.
