Awesome ‘lil spoon-atula with a very solid and durable Teflon coating overall. I’ve had these (I ordered two for our labs...) for about 4 months now and, even with continuous use and washing under our conditions, they look the same as they did when I unboxed them.I thought the coating would chip and flake, but it’s solid as a rock.Such a cool little tool, too! I never considered the amount of waste we incur through static adhesion of powdered material, but I think I will from now on. Some of the materials we use for compounding our products are quite expensive, and a gram saved is money we don’t lose. These have already paid for themselves. They are long! But, they totally look like something Dr. McCoy would stir his Romulan Ale with. Starfleet Spoons!

Because of the other gentleman who shared his review on this item, iv now realized how much gets lost due to static cling. Spot on with the Teflon coating, quite the epiphany. So big thanks to him.

First day, handling only KOH and 18C6, handwashed with non scratch pad and Alconox, turned out like this.If this is the standard for labwares anywhere in the world, science would be a joke.
