We bought this unit to hang on the wall to keep our cats’ wand toys up out of reach. It works well! We put the wand part into the top and bottom, and tuck the toy end into the bottom part. Voila! The kitten can’t get at it and potentially strangle himself! I’m assuming it would work very well for umbrellas. It was easy to mount, lightweight, compact and inexpensive.

If the adhesive worked on out door, it’d have been perfect for maximizing my small apartment space. But it did not, so I had to return it.

Great idea, needs better/stronger adhesive.We cleaned the wall with alcohol prior to installing but unfortunately, with the weight of 3 umbrellas, it keeps falling off the wall. I plan to use some liquid adhesive that is more permanent. Hopefully that will hold it better.

I got these to hold my son's bamboo katanas, wood swords, and snake head cane. Worked great!I love that it's two pieces, so you can adjust that top piece to hold it wherever you need it to based on the height of your umbrella or swords. Plastic is light yet strong.The only reason I gave it four stars, is I really wish it had screw holes so I had the option to screw it in.The tape that it came with is a nice velcro adhesive. But I don't know why you would want velcro adhesive on this, you're not going to reposition it. Instead, I put it up with this rubbery two-sided tape that I have and it's staying up fantastic as you see the photo.

Great idea but the adhesive doesn't hold at all. I had to resort to buying my own double-sided tape.

The sticky pads are not the greatest and I would consider them understrength for umbrellas. I drilled small holes and used screws to attach to a shelf and it works well. So I would say 3.5 Stars - 4 stars if they had thought of this themselves and provided screws.
