Disappointed. Ordered 3 times and were all broken each time delivered. Refused each shipment. Pieces falling out of the boxes broken and holes in them bigger than basketballs. Cancelled order.

I am currently getting these returned based on my understanding of the way these columns get installed. I have a 10ft 8" fit. I was under the impression that the base and cap made the difference (or could make the diff in the 10ft column) once installed. This is not the case, I wish I understood this better or the description made this more clear (or maybe I just didn't understand enough about columns to get this fact) either way I am returning these based on this, so lesson learned that 10 ft is exactly 10ft and the cap and base have no impact on install length. Lesson two is that if you need a in-between size (duh) go up to the next size and cut as needed. The product came promptly and properly and is of excellent make and build. I am going to reorder the correct two after the return happens based on my pleasure with Amazon and the fact I buy any and everything from them. (12ft needed). I gave 4 stars though based on the merit that I believe I am not that dumb and a description update may be needed. I work on houses and though this is the first Column (pillar) replacement, I do know how to determine length and circumference. I knew I needed 10ft 8" but the question answered area threw me for a loop. Okay I may of been stupid not doing more research. Haha. I will update once the return happens and the new ones are ordered. If all goes well with the return process.

I guess it’s made of fiberglass, but it must have some concrete in it because this thing is almost a 2 man job,(I would suggest getting a friend)Use a cutting wheel on an angle grinder to cut to size. It has a centering ring to keep it in place and the top snaps on that and both the top and bottom are just plastic. I wish they were also fiberglass, but it’s still a good buy.

This is a heavy column, although not weight bearing, it does look substantial and is of very high quality. Following the instructions and using auto epoxy to fill the joint worked great, sanded smooth and can hardly see the joint at all.We have received many complements from neighbors. Definitely recommend.

Sharing Info re Endura-Stone columns. Pacific Columns offers Endura-Stone columns in (4) finishes. Three are "colorized" throughout the material and require no painting. The fourth is "paint ready". I strongly recommend purchasing their color samples kit. Also, I have yet to determine but believe the Capitals & Bases are NOT colorized (e.g., they must be painted to match). Don't forget to consider the freight cost. These are HEAVY load-bearing columns!

The product as expected. Has a very smooth surface.The cap and base are very sturdy and well made.However, have big issue with delivery.Column arrived cracked twice .First time ,I requested a replacement.When the replacement arrived cracked, I said enough.I requested a refund. Amazon was superb about meeting expectations,replacement and refund. Thank you.

I've used these columns on several projects, both exterior and interior, and they work perfectly. Amazon got my most recent order to me quicker than my local supplier could!
