I purchased three of these columns, which are expensive. When I pulled them out of the box to start putting them together, all three of them had gashes, scratches, black marks, and nicks. One column in particular has nicks all over it right on the edges where the columns come together and looks terrible. Even a few of the bases are messed up too. One in particular has most of the corners nicked off. At this point, I had already started putting it together. I am currently trying to fill in the gaps to try and make them look even so I can paint over them to see if I can cover them. Do not buy this product. Clearly, the quality control is terrible and inexcusable.
