Great plate for what I needed. Large size, looks really nice on the ceiling. The material is plastic but it looks like molding. I found some flat paint helps the effect. Easy to install/use.

I think this ceiling medallion is good quality and an excellent price. The thickness is similar to a bleach jug (heavy plastic). Some reviewers complained that it does not rest flat on the ceiling—not so for me. It rests perfectly flat with no issues. I originally thought that the more ornate medallions would not work with my decor, but I went too far the in the other direction when I picked out this style which is unfortunately too plain and simple for my room. I ended up purchasing a different style from the same seller which is more of a compromise between the simple style of this one and the really ornate ones. I am returning this one. If you want to “dress up” your lighting and your ceiling, but you have a more contemporary style or just prefer a medallion that is not overly ornate, then this one might be the one for you. It does extend down from the ceiling a little further than others. It looks great. It's quite thin and flimsy but enough glue fixes that.

Very light weight so you don’t have to worry about it falling on you. I attached it using a brad nailer and caulked it around. Love the outcome great value for money.

I ordered this Ekena 19 inch ceiling medallion to cover up a large square hole from my other ceiling light. When this arrived, I couldn’t believe it is so thin. You don’t touch it much but to me, it looks plastic and it sags. You can see this in my picture. I plan to silicone it flush to the ceiling until my husband can CNC a wood medallion for me. I was trying to save time and not spend tons on the project. That was my mistake since we will need to remount the light.

it looks awsome after I painted it it feels more sturdier.when u get it u think its flimsy ? But look ,i put it up without glue or nails & it stay put? Love it ! Hides imperfection from previous light .get it!! Great price good product
