I liked the size because I wanted to use it outside to brace my mailbox onto the granite pole. The thickness was important. I didnt want it to look skimpy. It was perfect

Every one of the six items in my order is broken; I would have returned them but the return window closed just before I needed to use them. The brackets are held together with staples which apart from coming loose, are not strong enough anyway to make these brackets structurally sound.
