I should, but rarely leave reviews, I was so disappointed in this product that I thought it was only right to warn other prospective buyers. At first glance, the brackets are attractive but after removing them from the packaging, I started seeing some obvious flaws in workmanship. The mitered joints were not cut correctly and a substantial amount of filler was used to hide the fact that they were not mitered accurately. I could get past that and use the old saying that caulk and paint will make it what it ain't. But I ran into serious problems when I went to install the brackets in my newly built porch. All of the brackets were built out of square, some worse than others, out of 8 brackets, I was only able to use two without disassembly. I literally had to disassemble 6 of the 8 brackets, adjust the solid mitered angle piece to get a 90 degree angle using a framing square. I created new screw holes and used polyurethane adhesive before reassembling. I also noticed that who ever built the brackets, counter sunk the screws in way to far given the material is approx. 3/8" thick, the further the screw drives, in, the less holding power. I spent about an hour and a half (15 minutes per bracket) fixing something that I paid good money for. The brackets were out of square anywhere from a 1/4" to 1/2" in 16", that's unreasonable. I'm a homeowner but have been in the construction business my entire adult life. Fortunately enough for me, I have the tools and knowledge to fix the brackets. A good and bad point is that they didn't glue the brackets, although glued is much stronger. I may not have been able to disassemble the brackets without destroying if they were glued. I didn't reach out to the company because I don't know what they would offer me. I'm not going to wait another 4 weeks for them to make new ones. I have open building permits and need to get them closed out. And in my experience, if it';s done done right the first time, why would it be right the second. There's either not enough oversight or they don't care and figure that homeowners would accept the subpar workmanship. They need to create a jig to build these brackets consistently and to create a true 90 degree angle. You are better off going to a local building supply co. and ordering brackets from a reputable company. I have pictures of what I'm describing but it appears that I am unable to upload to this review. Since I don't typically leave reviews, I am not certain if you can upload pics or not.
