Perfect for my 3 & 5 yr. grandsons. I opened the package in advance to make sure they worked well. You do have to add batteries. Across an 1800 sq ft home the sound was fine not too loud; for kids perfect. I wish the ones I had when I was a kid work this good.

My nephew wanted Pikachu Walkie talkies for Christmas. I was having a hard time finding something in stores but found these on Amazon for $40. The quality is okay. Not the best I’ve seen but not terrible. I don’t think they are $40 quality however. The plastic is light weight and I can see these breaking in a few months. What really got me, was when I was walking through the toy section at another store and saw these for $15.99 a few days after Christmas. That price point seems to be more realistic than $40.

I bought 2 sets for 2 different nephews. They work great for them. They are 5 to 8yo. They annoy their siblings greatly so my uncle duties have been accomplished.

Super cheap. One came broken. When you push the button to talk all you get it static. Can't hear what's being said from the other walkie... Bought as a together gift for my 9 and 3 yr olds. My 9 yr wants nothing to do with them bc of it.
