Like others, I was dismayed when Ikea discontinued the Ektorp line. My challenge was locating matching replacement loveseat and ottoman covers in a color that was not some version of off white/beige or gray. And, they needed to be less than the price of entirely new furniture. This seller had both covers in Dark Ocean. It's an upscale looking saturated blue that appears to me to be very slightly more to the teal side than it appeared on my screen. It adds great color to the room without taking over the room. I'm 100%+ happy with my color selection.The fabric is far more substantial than I expected, has a light texture and does not appear to be a lint or animal fur magnet. The construction seems high quality and appropriately sturdy. Although trying to iron anything the shape of the loveseat cover is a bit challenging, I was surprised at how easily the shipping creases ironed out of both items. The cushion covers barely show any wrinkles from use.Both covers fit perfectly. The cushion covers are nice and snug which made my 10 year old (at least) loveseat cushions "poof" up like new. Getting the cover on the ottoman top required a bit of effort but it zipped up tightly and looks perfect. The grommets for the "bumper" screws are a bit smaller than on the original Ikea ottoman cover so you do have to make sure the cover is exactly in place for them to line up with the holes on the underside of the ottoman top. Just make sure the edge trim is correctly aligned and you should have no problem.The loveseat cover arrived within a few days. The ottoman cover was out of stock when I placed my order. There was an additional week or two delay on the ottoman cover but the seller provided appropriate updates and it arrived as promised in the updates. The results more than made up for that bit of extra wait!

Fit is awesome and feels like very good quality . Is easier to put on then original and even has cushion labels sewn in. The material has great feel and thickness to it .Very pleased. May purchase another since it was hard to find.

I was so reluctant to pull the trigger and buy this replacement cover for my Ektorp IKEA sofa but what a great purchase it was! It fit better than the cover that actually came with this sofa originally. It’s the same fabric as the original. The color is a slight off-white exactly like the original cover that came with the sofa. It’s perfect and buy the pictures. You can see how well my IKEA chairs match the new sofa cover. It fits well and easier to put on the cushions than the original. It has metal zippers that work like a dream as the originals sofa cover had a plastic zipper. I was disappointed that IKEA stopped making a replacement cover but boy did this purchase make me happy do yourself a favor and take 15 minutes to 30 minutes and iron out all the covers. It makes a world of difference to get the fold out of it I would not hesitate to buy this cover! Extremely well-made!

Replaced an original Ikea slipcover that was over 10 years old. This went on easier and fits better than the original!

Most of the Ektorp replacement covers online are beige or gray - why bother? I worried a bit that this extraordinary blue-green it might be too dark but its not at all - just dark enough to hide pen marks or small spills. I LOVE this cover! It's made in China so I guess I have to change my preconceived notions because this is really well made; feels just like the IKEA covers, it even has Velcro at the back to secure the main cover to the loveseat.Caution 1 - the pieces are packed snugly so be very careful cutting open the inner box.Caution 2 - there are no instructions so if you've done it before try this: 1) Do one side at a time or it will be too tight. Put the main piece on first: drape it over your bare sofa with the 2 nubs of the cover on the 2 sides of the sofa's top. Inch one side down 1st, then ease the rounded arm end over the sofa's arm. Tug that side's cover down. Repeat on the other side. 2) Insert the seat cushions in the square covers. 3) Insert the back cushion into the cover with the 'wing' end in first. Push the cushion as far as you can into the wing end & gently pull it down on the square cover side & pull it closed with the zipper. Place all 4 cushions on loveseat & enjoy!!(Keep the old covers as you might want a change in the future, I change mine with the seasons.)

The material is thick yet soft . The colour is just as shown online. The challenge was putting the big piece on the chair. I eventually I used a steamer to gently encourage the cover on. It fit like a glove. The cushions were easy to put on. I would suggest to the manufacturer to add 1cm to all chair cover seams to reduce the chance of tearing.

My chair is several years old so maybe that was the issue but this cover (other than for the back pillow) bore no resemblance to my armchair - a shame because the colour and the delivery were very good
