I ordered this to cover the holes in the wall from my prior thermostat which was much wider than my new Google Nest. This was very easy and quick to install and it looks great!

This looks very neat compared to the original bulky thermostat I had before. I didn’t like the colored plates I saw in other reviews because they didn’t blend with the wall. It’s tempting to get a color that matches your nest thermostat, but it looks really odd if you have a different colored wall. I’ll recommend you order the color that matches your wall and not your nest thermostat. The grey/white contrast looks amazing imo. I love this so much, and now I read the temperature every time I pass by the thermostat.

The paint color under the old thermostat was different than the rest of the wall and would have been exposed without this wall plate. This plate was inexpensive, made of round, hard, and smooth plastic, and covered the wrong colored area nicely. It was easy to install and the color of this plate matched the Nest thermostat color well.

This was made for the google nest line of thermostats. Color matches my nest thermostat, covers old holes, screw holes of old thermostat without having to patch the wall.

My nest came without a backplate. Ended up looking a bit messy due to the old thermostat causing damages to the wall. This fit the color and hid the imperfections on my wall perfectly. Definitely recommend

Exactly as described, thermostat housing snaps right into this bracket and makes the entire unit more appealing. Covers up any holes that could be from other thermostats after replacing with the nest thermostat.
