I made mango fruit leathers last night. I think the product worked as intended but wasn't sure about an auto shut off. I got up in the middle of the night to turn it off & unplug it. After 10 hours I wanted to trust that it would shut off & not sure because it never did & forgot what time I started it so unplugged it in the middle of the night when the leathers were done. I have another food dehydrator with a timer & it beeps when done & has an auto shut off. I'm not wild about this one for that reason but it does have more surface area & more shelves than my smaller dehydrator. This one comes with 2 food mats. I'm not sure why they only gave me 2 because it has lots more shelves but a teaser, I guess.

This machine does a decent job of dehydration while retaining flavors and smells. The trays are sized well and easy to clean. It is quiet while running but you must keel things well spaced for proper dehydration.

When we received this dehydrator, we were worried about how small it was. But size does not matter with this thing. (It just adds to the cuteness factor.) It has 8 trays and lots of room! We used it over the weekend to make some jerky and it works well. The jerky stuffed a gallon size ziploc bag. It has two knobs, one for power and one for the temp. It's not noisy and loud like our previous dehydrators. Very happy with this order.
