I'm not a big fan of the plastic flip cover at all. It's a bit flimsy, but moreso, the citrus halves juice better if I cup my hand over each to push them down on the juicer grinder.The unit takes a little bit of time to clean after each use...but, it is easy to access all the parts to rinse them thoroughly.

Compact machine, well made, set up easy.Slicer actually sliced my (kind of soft/well ripe) tangerines either ease. I’ve never had a plastic slicer/knife be able to handle citrus rinds with ease.Set up was easy. Took my son and I a few tangerines before we got the handle of it. Larger fruit would work ideal, so you can press the lid down (I just used my hand, it did the labor).Clean up was easy enough, you pop the white part off and wash.You’ll want to have a towel/trash ready to dump the pulp. Lost a star because a ton of juice was still in the tray. So no pulp gets through which is great, but you’ve got to work to get that last bit of juice that pools out of the machine without making a mess.Still fun, would recommend buying. Kids can use/help with supervision.

I agree with the previous person’s review…the plastic how it opensAnd your impression is you won’t have to touch. The fruit. You do. I should have bought another ‘Alex’s Lemonade Stand’
