This steamer is excellent. Its large capacity is perfect for family use. It heats up fast . The automatic keep-warm function is convenient. The operation interface is simple, and it's space-saving. I was initially very excited to use this food steamer, and for the first few weeks, it lived up to my expectations. The design is sleek, and it produced perfectly steamed food, which was a delight. However, after a little over a month of use, I encountered several significant issues that have made me rethink my purchase.I purchased this food steamer on July 27, 2024, and as of today, August 30, it has unfortunately stopped working entirely. This is extremely disappointing, especially considering how much I enjoyed using it initially.One of the main issues I faced from the beginning was the Menu function. It’s quite difficult to navigate and not user-friendly at all. Sometimes, I found myself spending more time trying to set the steamer up than actually cooking. The instructions aren’t very clear, which only adds to the frustration.Additionally, I noticed that the timer feature has a glitch. On several occasions, I set the timer for 30 minutes, only to find it had jumped to 1 hour without any input from me. This inconsistency in the timer is particularly problematic when cooking delicate items that require precise timing.In summary, while this food steamer started off great, its short lifespan and the issues with the Menu function and timer make it hard to recommend. It’s a shame, because it has potential, but these setbacks have ultimately made it more trouble than it’s worth.

This great item gives you up to 4 trays to steam items, all at the same time. So far, I have only used it for vegetables, but I can say I have never had better tasting asperigis, brocolie , cauliflower, or sweet corn. Take the menu with a greain of salt. Maybe, if you live at a high altitude, the cook times are relevant. Here in Houston, (sea level) take off about 5 minutes. Stack them up to 4 high? cook time same as one product.So why 4 stars and not 5? I can only get it to turn off by unplugging. When the timer runs down to zero, it keeps right on poiling the water. Other than that, love it.Removeable level risers and trays lets you only use what you need to cook. Each section has a nice s/s tray and a synthetic mat to place the food on, both very esey to clean. With the trays and mats, unless you just MITST add something, no trays or bowls needed. Haven't done clams or anything similar yet, so that is the next adventure with this product.
