This is a very nice neck, and I'll use it for a strat build or something. But I was going to try to put it on a Telecaster body. Tele has a flat neck joint, wouldn't work. Other than that, very nice quality, fret ends are smooth, great finish for an unfinished neck.

Could not get rid of bad string buzz on the two lowest strings. Took to a luthier, and he found that the neck twists or warps when strings are put on. The neck is unusable. Unfortunately too much time has gone by to return. In fairness, I have another of these necks that is fine. So, if you buy one of these, put on guitar body quickly. Not sure they would have accepted a return anyway after it had been used on a guitar..

Love the quality . The neck is maple and the fretboard was surprisingly curly maple and had a nice figure when stained and cleared very happyI dyed back black and cleared with laquer and the beautiful curly maple fretboard I dyed dark blue and sanded it then another coat of light blue and then clear! Turned out beautiful

Fater then any Fender or Gibson i've played, would need fret work as weel.
