I had one of these years ago with only two blades. This one has 4 blades and works great. I take this in to work on hot days. I use it at family events. This thing is well built and works great.

So this ice machine I shaver which I wanted to make snow cones is more of a heavier duty machine than I was actually needing as I did want something that the kids could use to but there's no way that I would let kids use this. It's more of a commercial grade and I definitely was not in need of something of its stature. But this will last a long time it is heavy because it's made of metal no plastic whatsoever this thing is all metal and definitely would be great for someone that uses something like this or an ice shaver or needing something like this on a daily basis and a strong person. Lol :-)

I got this ice crusher machine to make snow cones for my daughter's birthday party. It crushes the ice to the perfect consistency. The machine isn't very loud at all. The machine is very easy to use and clean. My older kids loved making snow cones so much with this machine, they started a little business selling them. The machine isn't to heavy so it's portable which I love. I definitely recommend buying.

WHAT I LIKED….SIZE WAS FINE..it was fast and made slush in seconds…very quiet..seems well made, heavy duty for home use..WHAT I DID NOT LIKE… it was used… came a mess and unpacked properly in box. Tiny pan was dented.Tons of styrofoam in the machine..Not stainless.. it’s aluminumNo 4 blades.. only 1. And no instructions on how to clean, remove, adjust for slivers of ice instead of powder.No crystal cover in closing plate.. splashes and makes a mess.You can’t fill hopper like pic shows..( or you need a huge bowl) half a hopper full, fills bowl . Melts super Fast. But also shoots all over, around and above the little pan.Instructions are a joke..no instructions actually. Lots of warnings though.Pan not fitted to opening.. misses by a mile. Be prepared to do alot of wiping up.Rubber feet on bottom is secure BUT LEAVES BLACK MARKS ON COUNTER. Putting towel under feet defeat purpose of no skid feet.ALL IN ALL.. THE MACHINE IS GOOD AND OPERATES EASILY.. it’s just not well thought out for usage.Oh.. there was a long plastic tube included, cover in melted tape..?? Don’t know what it’s for. ( I’m guessing MAYBE ATTACH TO TINY HOLE ICE COMES OUT OF.?) but nothing in 1 page info. No pic of it anywhere , showing where it goes.I WANTED TO LOVE THIS MACHINE BUT I DONT WANT USED MESS, WITH MISSING PARTS AND NO INSTRUCTIONS.I REALLY HOPE AMAZON READS THIS… ALSO THE SELLER..PS. I MAY BE DRINKING STYROFOAM MIXED WITH ICE AS IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET IT ALL OUT OF INSIDES.( I did throw first few pans of snow out,,but ??? )

The description says it is an ice crusher but all it does is make shaved ice., Plus the base is plastic,not stainless steel. Not happy with this and may be sending it back for a refund.
