My husband loves these for work. It does take time to heat 30-40 mins, so he plugs in at his desks. He is often interrupted during lunch so he loves he can keep it plugged in while he eats maintaining his food warm, vs microwave and it’s cold in 5 mins. It also helps if you sprinkle water (about .5 oz) as it works by heating water content in the food.

Lunches have been so much better since I purchased this!This is not a cooker, so do not place raw food in it, but things like canned/bottled pasta, cooked rice, left overs. Even things like thawed chicken nuggets will heat for a nice lunch!Just plug it in, and wait 30-45 minutes.Throwing in left over noodles, pasta sauce from a bottle, chicken nuggets, mozzarella and parmesan! Let it heat up for the 30-45 minutes and I had a makeshift heated up chicken parmesan for lunch, and a lot of people at the office getting hungry!I wouldn't use this for soup, but I have used it with Stew and curry!Personally, I am very happy with this item! Definitely a product I can't recommend enough if you are tired using the microwave and over heating your lefties, like me, this is an great option!

Wish it would heat food faster. Takes 25-30 min so plan ahead. Very good though. I prefer this device over microwaves. Way better than microwave radiation.

Got this for my husband for Christmas, he hates the way food tasted heated up in mike "microwave" and he loves it. Plug in 30 mins before lunch and it is ready to eat. He does recommend putting a little bit of water in with the food to keep it from caking onto the tray. The spoon and fork work perfect but would have liked a knife only downside.

I bought this lunchbox for my boyfriend to use at work. His job rarely allows him to be able to sit down and put his meals in the microwave, which was starting to really limit what I could pack him to eat. This lunchbox fixed that issue completely, now I can pack him anything and everything! No more having to eat cold rice or settling for a pb&j sandwich.The fact this lunchbox comes with both a cable for a wall outlet and for a car is extremely useful, as sometimes he has to stay in his car for hours at a time at work. His coworkers also can smell the lunch when he heats it up and gets lots of compliments on both the food and lunchbox itself.The lid has a compartment for the spoon and fork. I sometimes have trouble putting the spoon and fork back into the compartment so I don't always use it. I can't comment on the additional plastic container that fits into the lunchbox so I have no idea if it's safe to leave in there which the box is heating up. I didn't use the lunch bag that came with this product but it was a thoughtful addition.

Used today first time. I put a strip steak and brussel sprouts with pat of butter. I started it 1.5 hours before I ate at work. Everyone could smell my lunch and it smelled and tasted delicious! Butter did not burn and meat as tender as I made night before.Like many of you, microwaves heat the dish but not food and cooks it more.The dish is ample for two servings (deep). The only thing I wish it had was a plastic cover for portions not eaten, but save for later.I do alot of roadtrips in barren Southwest, so I like option of using in the car for leftovers.BTW, that small plastic bin is to store the plugs, so as not to scratch the surface when stored inside. You can't heat it and reason why they didn't add a ss knife.

muy práctica solo que en le carro a veces se tarda en calentar, en el enchufe normal si calienta muy bien.
