This pruning shear did a good job and didn’t tire my hand out like manual pruning shears. It cut cleanly and quickly any limb or branch that I put into the cutters up to about a 1/2 inch of hardwood like oak to about 5/8 inch of soft wood like pine or grape vines. It kept working fine as long as the battery had a good charge on it, but when the battery drained it will likewise cut slower and weaker. The blades stayed sharp and seemed to be made of hardened alloy steel. Grape vines were no problem at all and it took about 3 hours to do a dozen vines. When I complete a few more days of pruning I will update this review but for now I’ll give them a thumbs up and recommend.One final note is that it is the most risky and dangerous tool I have as they will cut off anything that gets in between the cutters, including fingers and there is no safety. Pressing the trigger makes it complete a full cycle and there is no half stroke so if a finger gets in the cutters it will likely be cut off cleanly.

Cuts 3/4" branches with ease. Comes with a spare cutting blade. No more cramped hands trimming our bushes and trees. Was very surprised how powerful this tool is. Even using the smallest battery it lasts all day without recharging. Very satisfied!The use instructions are not clear, it can appear to be broken when it is fuctioning normally. To use press the on off button until the light comes on. Then pull the trigger two times. The instructions do not state this, but you have to pull the trigger 2 times quickly, then it will make some beeps and only then it is fully turned on. If it doesn't beep you did not pull the trigger fast enough. Child safety I guess. No beeps you cannot use it.Wear thick leather or no cut gloves and keep body parts clear of the blade. The cutting action occurs in a fraction of a second, it will extremely easily cut through bone. Fingers will be removed without warning, like a bad Mafia movie! Do not let children use. Turn off when not using to prevent accidental activation. This tool should be treated with due respect! It is scary quick and powerful. I really can't emphasis this enough. 340 / 5 000Good tool, very affordable price, uses batteries from a brand of tools I already have. ON/OFF button, replacement blade set included. A bit of a wait time before the tool actually starts working after turning it on. Automatically turns off after about a minute of non-use. This is a bit an annoying feature. Very good value, powerful and reliable. I own it for one year now. No complaint.

I bought this to prune a large raspberry patch. It took me about 3 hours to complete. Had I used the manual hand pruner, as in the past, it would have taken at least double that time with a fair amount of strain and pain on my hand. This cut through even the very large, dead stalks with no problem at all. I started with a fully charged battery and brought a spare along to the garden but it didn't even use 1/4 of the first battery's capacity. I definitely wish I had bought one of these a long time ago! This tool seems to be built well - it feels sturdy and solid. The information on Amazon states that it come with a 5-year warranty but be aware that the manual indicates it has a 1-year limited warranty. That being said, the tool is relatively inexpensive and I feel I've already gotten my money back with the first pruning job. I look forward to using it on trees where I feel it will perform better than a manual pruner.

They worked great for a little. Alot of the reviews where wrong you can turn them off and have them stay closed. The battery last a long time you can cut anything that fits inside of them. After having them for a few months they just simply will not turn on no beeps nothing. The last time I used them no issues no signs of problems or issues to come. If you have a project or two they are great but I wouldn't buy them if u want to use them for longer than a month or two. For the time they last they are great and fun just don't last for long.

So far this one working great. Using DeWalt battery (already have a few), cutting branches just fine. Hopefully will not cut my fingers.

I love this little jigger. My batteries fit. It's sharp and dies a fantastic job. It's so easy to use. No more pain in the wrists. Just pull the trigger. I highly recommend.

This tool cuts through thick branches like a knife through butter.It saves strain on your fingers through repetitive use and takes the Dewalt 18v batteries, which last for ages.âš ï¸ Word of warning - these are incredibly sharp; I accidentally caught the top of my little finger with the tip of the blade and it opened it up down to the knuckle, requiring stitches and a tetanus jab.A fantastic piece of kit for the money, especially in comparison with the Dewalt product, but please please wear thick gloves when using.

GIven the need for repeated or large scale pruning this is perfect. Bamboo cut to size , tree trimmings it just eats its way through with no strain on the wrists .. good battery life if you already have dewalt style batteries

This is a great product, and very handy for pruning the finger sized branches that would quickly fatigue your finger's. Very happy, just a bit tricky to turn on, and that could be a good thing if smaller children were around

A bit of getting used to with getting it to power up. Once you get started this thing works too good. Light and cuts small branches with ease. I found myself looking for things to prune. **Be Careful when using it and DO NOT let kids play with it.
