This is very easy to use. Put your greens in the basket, add the lid and away you go! This is convenient and I like that it's rechargeable. I means I don't have to stick near an outlet to use it. Clean up is super easy. I just rinse it and put it in the dish drainer to dry. Personally, I wouldn't risk putting it in the dishwasher. Makes life easier. I've spent years putting my greens in a pillowcase and taking them outside to vigorously spin them in the air.

I love making salads in summer with fresh lettuce and always hate needing to wash it and let it dry before making a salad. This salad spinner has solvedy problems! I am not able to wash my lettuce, put it in the spinner, and with a push of a button it automatically spins my lettuce dry. I love that this is rechargeable and that I don't need to manually push the salad spinner myself.

I read hands free, it is not. You must press down on the lid to keep it from wobbling. The basket and bowl are both a weak plastic. Extremely thin. I don't know their meaning of dry, but doing 3 lettuce leaves, after 9 tries, there was still so many drops of water, I could shake it off. The USB is an older charging port. It is not a C adapter. I am returning and will continue looking in to finding a quality spinner.
