I ordered these electric scissors mainly for home DYI projects and for cutting up cardboard boxes for disposal and they have work well for my applications. I really like that sheers are lightweight and comfortable to use. The cutting head is easy to attach and the motor is powerful enough for home use.

Easily cuts through heavy cardboard. I tested this scissor on some really heavy Amazon boxes and it just zipped right through them. You will find in the box a pair of ear plugs and I was wondering why they would include them since the scissors are very quiet when running but once I put them to cutting the cardboard I understood. The cardboard itself is what made the noise. The scissors blades move so rapidly they make the cardboard vibrate and it's very loud. In conclusion, they work really well and seem to be very well made. I don't know how long the blades will stay sharp or if they can be replaced or sharpened. Other than that, it's a winner.

I used these electric shears to cut through thin metal sheets, chipboard and Amazon boxes. I had no problems cutting through the chipboard and boxes. The sheet metal required some getting used to before I got a clean cut. Electric shears don't have a blade guardso be careful when cutting. I have been invited to participate in the Amazon Vine program and it is my responsibility to offer an unbiased opinion. I hope you found this review helpful.

Ordered this since I usually have a lot of cardboard boxes to breakdown and though my box cutter does the job, it's time consuming and need to switch out the blades regularly. This electric scissor cutter is easy to use. Once the blade is attached, you plug it in and are ready to go. I was able to break down large boxes quickly and in small pieces. When using my box cotter, I partially cut them down, with this cutter, I broke them down further to facilitate tossing them into my blue bin. I did not try on other materials since I had none on hand, however, it worked so well with cardboard, it should work as well on other listed materials. Reasonable price as well. Recommend.
