I'm reviewing my electric silicone warming mat after just receiving it. Still, during my initial test run, I already love it. I've had more traditional warming trays in the past, which were rigid, but this flexible format is awesome. To start off, this thing is huge, and that's a plus in my book since I want to use it when having company over for dinner. It would easily fit a whole turkey roasting pan or several main and side dishes to help you gain a sense of scale.The silicone is thick but also flexible, and the mat rolls up when not in use, so it's surprisingly space-friendly when it comes to storage.Simple touch controls are straightforward and don't require much explanation overall. Once you hit the power button default is "on-all-the-time," or use the timer button for up to 4 hours before it shuts off. You can cycle through five heat settings. The first two settings were warm/hot to the touch, but don't be fooled. The third, fourth, and fifth heat settings are hot enough to burn your fingers, so oven mitts are advised anytime you're around heated surfaces. It's a warming mat that can get REALLY hot as needed, so wait until the unit cools before trying to move it, clean it, or roll it up. Finally, you can switch from C or F depending on your needs.Maybe you're thinking, "Sure, but doesn't it get really hot underneath the pad? Will it cause damage?" Well, that's what I assumed and was skeptical, but the answer is no. The thick rubber nubs spread evenly across the underside of the pad provide enough space between the pad and the surface below. I also found that most heat was generated from the top of the pad versus the underside. I'm sure that was done by design. The top was extremely hot with the unit on full, but the underside was still manageable.Of the two color choices, I went with the white. We hope it won't stain and that cleaning with soap, water, and a sponge will be good enough to keep it clean. Obviously, you're not submerging this mat or putting it in your dishwasher.A+ from this reviewer!

This warming tray looks well made. The display is easy to read, very responsive, and the directions are easy to understand. I’ve found that not only is it handy for dinner parties, but it is handy for everyday use at dinner. Instead of leaving a pan on the stove on low heat during dinner, we just turn on the warming tray. It keeps whatever we are having warm until dinner is over. It has 5 temperature settings from 140 degrees to 212 degrees. Each setting achieves a slightly higher temperature than the setting. The lowest setting has the most difference reaching 153 degrees at the 140 degrees setting. The 212 degrees setting reaches 218 degrees. I measured the temperature at the heating elements. Because the heating elements are spaced out an inch or two, the average temperature of the mat is closer to the set point. It heats quickly reaching temperature in minutes but takes much longer to cool down. The legs on the bottom protect the surface you set it on from getting too hot. It comes with a Velcro strap to hold it rolled up when you are done using it. The box it comes in is sturdy and I use it to store the mat between uses. This is not the most expensive or fancy warming mat but it looks good and works well. I’d definitely recommend it.

I got this for entertaining and being able to keep food warm enough to eat, while it sits out to be eaten. This mat is perfect for what I was looking for. It can warm or keep things hot, so be careful to have oven mitts to lift the pans off, because it does get hot. It has temperature control and the top of the mat is where the heat is, so make sure no kids touch it. I got the cream color and it looks nice when unrolled. We do a lot of entertaining and I like having our food that is placed out kept warm, and this mat does the job. So happy with it and love that it rolls up for ease of storage.
