This is just a basic and simple shadowbox- no frills, no extras but it's suited my needs so well I ordered a second one as well. I like the slot on top so I can pop things in to rest on the bottom and will also stick things to the back to display them. A great way to display fun items without breaking the bank. Only downside is the open slot will eventually allow dust to collect inside so it'll require either something to cover the top or routine maintenance to keep clean.

I love this shadow box!!! I am using it as a way to save money for an international trip that I want to take. So I have printed up a background picture and stuck it to the back. The top slot makes it so easy to drop in coins and bills to save money. I love being able to view my progress. When it gets full enough, I'll empty it out, take the money to the bank and then start again. I'll be able to keep track of my progress on the little balloon I drew with the goal amount.There are so many creative uses for this shadow box with the top slot. It can be used for memorabilia, as a picture display, as a way to save money, as a way to display wine corks, a way to display various greeting cards and so much more. Only your imagination is the limit. This is well crafted and built to last.

Overall, this is a great shadow box for keepsakes. The 11x14 size is perfect for our needs and it is sturdy, I don’t see it falling apart anytime soon. The slot on the top is big enough for most items, and you can quickly retrieve the contents using the tabs on the back. The glass is clean, clear, and not too thin/fragile feeling. It also comes with the typical double wall mount hangers at the top. 5/5 stars

I currently have a smaller shadow box and it was about time I get a bigger one since it's filled to the brim. I figured upgrading to a 11 x 14 would continue to hold memories over the years that I've cherished.I love saving festival tickets/passes, wristbands, airplane tickets, any memory from past trips that I can look back on. The 11 x 14 size is perfect! It came packaged pretty well with Styrofoam to hold it in place, and I saw no cracks or scratches anywhere. It does come with nails in case you want to hang it up, but I tend to leave mine in 1 place and it sits there for awhile.This one is durable and sleek, which I love!

Perfect if you plan on using it to place tickets or keepsakes on a regular basis, but the cutout isn't painted on the inside so it looks unfinished when the rest of the frame is black.

Would have loved this as a teenager when I saved all my movie ticket stubs. If you're a traveler it would be a neat way to save your plane/train/bus/etc stubs too - watching the frame fill up as you travel.We used ours to fill up with tickets, stubs, brochures, etc from our honeymoon. The 11x14 box had a wide enough opening to drop in folded brochures from attractions we visited, a few photographs, plane ticket stubs, subway ticket stubs, etc.
