Rest the transom of your boat on the cart, secure tight with the adjusting knobs, and you're ready for transport. The transom clamp adjusts from 0.5" to 1.5", perfect for use on smaller fishing boats and canoes.

This is a well- made dolly,however, one Black knob which is an essential piece in tightening to boat, was cross threaded. Tried to get Amazon customer service to understand problem and send a replacement part,however customer service rep. insisted on refund, which was issued.I will go to hardware store and try to avoid returning.I really like the Dolly.

It is a good product, however it is too narrow. The wheels should be pneumatic if going over anything but pavement. It is lacking some washers on the handles that tighten the clamp to the transom. This is elementary to a 7th grader.

This boat dolly was what I have been looking for to help move my 12' jon boat when I'm by myself. Very well constructed, seems almost over built for what it is used for, but that is a good quality. I forsee years of trouble free use while making it easier to move my boat in various situations.

sprayed the wheels with WD40 and they turn much easier. I won't know for sure until I pull the jon boat to the water in spring. The only con I see is I need to turn the boat upside down so I can't carry gear and oars etc in the boat at the same time I pull it to the water.

So far I give10 star for quality of product and fast shipment.Will be using it soon on my inflatable 75lbs. I will be updating this after used on boat. Thanks, Capt. RobUPDATE: 08/06/2023 I am very very very happy with this product. I give this a 10-star rating. for ease of use and quality of the product. I am finally able to remove my inflatable boat and walk it to my storage area with ease by myself. The unit stayed in place great!

My husband loves this he didn't want to have to drill hole through his boat to put in wheels to help him get it to the lake , he loves the screw on one's so much he said he feels spoiled now ;)
