I had a stroke a few years ago and was really struggling with normal seeing pins. It’s really hard for me to grow tiny round things and keep hold of them well enough to place them correctly.These pins having a flat head are much easier to grab, and the slightly longer length has been easier for me as well. They’re also really cute!I’ve only been using them for a few months, but so far they seem pretty sharp, relatively sturdy, and rust resistant.But the ease of use and better functionality is the real selling point for me. If you also struggle with fine motor skills, these might work for you too!

These are cute sewing pins! They're long and flat, which are perfect for sewing crafts. My set came with a few broken pins, which isn't a deal breaker but something to be aware of.

Pins are a pretty color, they are a nice long length and the heart shape is darling, they also come in a nice sturdy reusable box. Unfortunately about 25% of the pins came in bent right out of the packaging. There was a lot of plastic string in the box (I assume salvage from the factory when pins were made). They are definitely more flimsy and weak than expected. I tried using them on Girl Scouts patches and they bent when I tried to secure them. After bending quite a few, I was able to get them to work.I believe they would do good for securing lights fabrics such as cotton but I would not recommend for use on thick or heavy materials.

I use these when layering machine embroidery fabrics. The heads are flat and points sharp and hold fabric well

Beautiful colors but caused pulls in some of my material. Some of the pins are very dull.
