I needed some sturdy and yet thin rulers and these were just right. Thin so a pen is able to write next to it without the metal being in the way. Very nice set - the three sizes are good to have for variety.

I bought this as a gift for my friend. His crazy ex-girlfriend crashed his car off a mountain and this just happened to be in the car. Because the car was crashed on his property, the city and county did not remove the car. They did the investigation and since nobody was hurt the car was just left there. It was not important to remove the damage. Well, the car was just left there for months but my friend and his family finally got around to removing it. When they looked through it, this was in the back. He took it out and started using it again. It was still in pretty good shape. It survived (kind of) outdoors for about three months and an evil witch of an ex, so I am going to give this five stars.

I have many more expensive rules, but I didn't need the accuracy they provided. This set of 12, 8 and 6 inch rules was fine for my uses. Be aware that they have not been cut accurately and the edges are slightly sharp. I would guess that they were cut +- 0.015" from the true end of the printed scale. Good enough for most uses. Also be aware that the ends are not necessarily cut at right angles. They seem to be +- 2 degrees. Gave them a forth star just because they are so cheap.

I like the fact that the 0 mark is directly at the end of the ruler, so no guessing on starting point. All three work well and have been used many times with no issues.

Great for building, cutting a straight edge and useful on the workbench. Durable, solid. I’d recommend

I’ll start by saying that I haven’t used them yet to measure anything since I immediately noticed how sharp they are when I opened them. Initially I thought it was just a point at the end that poked me a little taking it out, but on inspecting them I was surprised at how sharp they felt with just touching them lightly (I was afraid to really run my finger on the edge and possibly cut myself). Maybe I should have expected that with it being made of metal, but I didn’t. I bought them for my teenager for art class but won’t be giving them to my teen because I don’t want them to accidentally cut their self when using it.Price was really great and the material was sturdy. I may try to sand the edges (it’s not just the points, but the entire edge, like the edge of a piece of paper waiting to cut you). If that works, then great because I do like the sturdy metal material and handiness of various smaller sizes.
