The screen comes fully assembled in a long 8 ft box. I was surprised but also realized that made sense. The housing of the projector screen is durable. The mechanisms to secure it to the wall or ceiling are sound. No structural faults noticeable and does not appear that there will be a failure in them to worry about over time. The screen material is not as soft as stretched projection screen. This material has a stiff paper feel. Also seems more of a matte finish than stretched projection screen I've seen on the yard master model. However the material seems suitable for the function of remaining stiff and crisp when pulled down for viewing. I would handle with care as this material could be permanently creased if handled carelessly or mishandled.I have my screen mounted to the wall and there is slight breathing room behind the screen pulled down so that low profile objects could protrude and not interfere with the operation of this screen. There is probably a 1-2 inch buffer between the screen pulled down and the space between it and the wall. The screen pulls up and down securely. Quiet operation. Smooth tension. Does not feel cheap. The projected image looks good on the screen. Dimensions are correct and there are no anomalies in this projection screen that would hinder its operation and usage. Good product.

Works as expected. Picture is much better than the standard screen that came with my projector. Pull down when you want to use it & roll it up when you don't. Rather slim so it doesn't look bad at all being in place all year.

PRODUCT VERSION REVIEWEDELITE SCREENS MANUAL B 100-INCH MANUAL PULL DOWN PROJECTOR SCREEN DIAGONAL 16:9 DIAG 4K 8K 3D ULTRA HDR HD READY HOME THEATER MOVIE THEATRE WHITE PROJECTION SCREEN WITH SLOW RETRACT MECHANISM M100HQUICK REVIEW: [TL;DR]HIGH QUALITY – VERY AFFORDABLE MOVIE SCREEN – NO FRILLS NEEDED – EASY SETUPFULL REVIEW:ELITE SCREENS MANUAL B- M100H was exactly what I needed. I was going nuts looking at every projector screen on Amazon and other sites (for several months), and kept working my way up to $500-$1000 automatic screens. I finally took a step back, and thought about what I really needed / wanted.MY NEEDS:- Simple, idiot proof operation, for myself and guests- No hunting around for remotes- Lightweight for easy 1 person installation- Black Background for light blocking from background devices- High Reflection Rate (but not too bright)- 100 inch overall diagonal size- Something good enough for my 1080p / 3D projector- Attractive enough for my unfinished basement / rec. room- Nothing so expensive that I will get upset when my rowdy nephews break it- A good upgrade from a stretch fabric screen (that my nephews already got pool table chalk on)UNFOUNDED CONCERNS FROM OTHER REVIEWS:- Well packaged, no dents in boxes or case- No Strong Odor- No Wrinkle in the ScreenSETUP:In my case, my basement is unfinished so I wanted the screen mostly tucked out of the way into rafters/ceiling joists. My ceiling is also on the lower side, so it was easy to hang / install myself. I ended getting some adjusting projector hanging brackets ($14) to make it a little easier to level. I also needed to mount the screen between the joists so I needed the brackets to move the project away from the wall. I have a 65†TV for everyday TV and Gaming. I needed the screen far enough out so that I could pull it down in front of the TV when I want a more immersive experience.TIPS:Maybe it goes without saying, but I was very careful to make sure the screen was as level as I could get it, and perfectly square with my projector and the wall behind. This way it stays in focus across the entire screen. I also had to move my projector to make sure it was centered on the screen.IMPRESSIONS (so far):I LOVE IT. MY WIFE LOVES IT. MY SON LOVES IT. We have already elevated our family movie nights, and I’m loving watching NFL Playoff games on a 100 inch screen while I write this review. It has met or exceeded my expectations on every level. I could not be happier with this purchase.RECOMMENDATION:Skip all the bells and whistles of other screens, get something that works right every time. Stop making yourself crazy and just get this screen.

I recently did an AV upgrade at my house that included adding a projector to Zone 2 (my backyard). I got this screen to mount on my back porch. At first, I chose it because it was fairly cheap and fit the dimensions I needed. After looking around some more, I realized there aren't a whole lot of options for manual pull-down screens on the market. That being said, Elite Screens offers a number of options that go up in features, quality, and price accordingly. My first impressions of this screen were not great. Carrying it in the box you could hear the springs bouncing around. I worried I would have trouble like some other reviewers did with it not "sticking" when pulled down. These worries were unfounded because mine was fine. I then remembered that I paid less than $80 for this screen and it sure looks a lot better than a white sheet pinned up to the columns.I decided to use eye hooks screwed into the ceiling with S hooks to connect to the screen. This worked great and now I can remove the screen when not in use. With the humidity and weather swings we have, this is almost necessary. Hanging it went smoothly. When I pulled it down for the first time, I had those same feelings that this is not a top-quality product, but once it was down, those feelings changed. I noticed the edged curved in a bit, but I didn't see the wrinkles others saw at the bottom. The curved edges were not noticeable when an image was projected on the screen. I like the black borders on the sides. I was expecting the same borders on the top and bottom, but they weren't there. At first, this bothered me, but again, when an image was projected on it, it looked great!Man, this thing looks great. I'm using a BenQ MW665 projector running all my sources from a Denon AVR X4000 (Zone 2) through a Belkin ScreenCast AV4 wireless HDMI Splitter. That allows me to project Blu-Ray, Cable, Chromecast, AppleTV, etc. without running an HDMI outside.I have cedar beams in my den, so I'm thinking about putting the same eye hooks and S hooks on them so I can mount the screen inside over my TV.If you're worried about the quality of this screen, remember 2 things: 1.) This is a $75 dollar screen and 2.) If you're careful and don't yank it around a lot, it will last a long time.

This is great, just amazing. So I bought a cheap $40 came folded screen from Amazon before this, it looked good I thought. But this looks way better, whites, darks colors everything. so my cheap screen was a higher gain 1.3 gain, but who cares, this LOOKS BETTER TO ME AND EVERYONE IVE ASKED. then the mounting:. Very simple, just if u have drywall, mount it RIGHT TO TOO OF CEILING AS HIGH AS U CAN, THAT WAY UR SCREWS HIT HIT SOLID WOOD AND BOOM IT FEELS SUPER STABLE, STRONG, JUST PERFECT. ITS VERY HARD TO PULL DOWN FIRST FEW TIMES, GUESS OIL NEEDS TO CIRCULATE, it automatically goes upvery slow, but it looks cool, everyone's always impressed. Just perfect I could not improve a thing. OK EXCEPT SHIPPING, SO IT CAME TO AMAZON I GUESS ALREADY IN A LONG LING BOX, BUT EVERYONE THROWING IT HERE THERE,ON TRUCK, STUPID PACKING, NO PROTECTION AT EITHER END, I HAD FEW INCHES OF PLASTIC THAT CAME BROKEN WHEN IT ARRIVED, OBVIOUS FROM SHIPPING. HOWEVER I NEVER SENT BACK, AS I WALL MOUNTED IT, AND THE ONLY 2X SCREWS U NEED TO PUT IM WALL TO HOLD IT, THAT PLASTIC WAS INTACT, SO I JUST MOUNTED IT. WAS WORRIED AS ITS PRETTY HEAVY, AND HUGE, I THOUGHT NO WAY ONLY TWO SCREWS CAN SUPPORT THIS HUGE SCREEN!!! BUT NOPE, WORKS GREAT....YOU HAVE TO, REQUIRED, TO SCREW SUPPLIED SCREWS INTO WALL IR CEILING WOOD STUDS,( SOLID WOOD, 2X4 IR 2X6, ETC). IT COMES WITH DRYWALL PLASTIC SCREW MOUNTING THINGS:. NEVER USE THEM, IT WILL BREAK FIRST WEEK, BUT OTHER THAN SHIPPING:. WOW, AMAZING, BETTER THAN I THOUGHT OR HOPED. WORTH $2,000. JUST WOW. NOW I STOCK UP ON ALCOHOL, LOTS OF VARIOUS QUANTITIES OF DRUGS, AND WOW PRETTY SURE MY BEDROOM IS SO SIMILAR TO HEAVEN.... LOL. ANYWAY, BEST THING IBOUGHT, OTHER THAN LATEST $100+ HD PROJECTOR....WOW LIFES GOOD

I've had higher end screens in the past and with that came a stronger enclosure and a heavier weight material. It seems you get what you pay for with these. That's not necessarily a bad thing, the reflectivity is bright and vibrant, and I really love the brake on the return mechanism, so I don't feel like I've lost much. That said, the lighter material does curl in a bit more at the edges on the larger screen (ours is the 100" 16:9), and the enclosure had to be handled with a little more care as the metal was thin enough it felt like I might damage or twist it if I squeezed too hard. The hangers hole positions might be great for direct wall or ceiling mount, but when being hung on fixed hooks it made hanging the screen quite difficult as they face each other, not ideal. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase, the hooks were only a problem when hanging it but really it's a set it and forget it scenario. The screen is sturdy when pulling or returning, and the reproduction is what I'd hoped.
