Pros: fully solor lights (no batteries necessary), light colors are bright, turns on and off automatically with sunrise and sunset once activated, there are many light colors with a push of a button to choose from making it easy to color coordinate with the holidays, and small enough to mount on steps to without being a hazard.Cons: mounts are permanent (lights need to be placed where buttons on back can be pushed to change colors), mounts are made to screw into steps (can't easily be mounted on concrete or metal steps unless you have right tools to drill the holes), double sided tape is used to secure light to base making them easier to rip off, and lights have to be mounted in a location to have direct sunlight to charge.

Really simple to set up. Extremely bright. I used on my front stairs and they illuminate the stairs nicely. I love that you can change colors. I keep them on white for everyday use and use the colors for holidays. I would highly recommend. I didn't want to screw them in so I just used the double sided tape on the concrete and it held well.

These lights are perfect for my steps! They stay bright all night! As you can see my steps are wide and the light brightens up all the way across. Great value!

We already had a bunch of a similar kind of triangle solar light to these and they're amazing, so I jumped at the chance to get more. The original ones we have are also solar powered, but only have one color- warm white. These new ones have several different colors, but are considerably smaller. I put them outside to get some sun on the solar panels and tried out the buttons on one of them. Since it was already daylight out, nothing happened, so I left it. Then I thought I better click the buttons on the rest of them the same amount of times so they are all synced up when it got dark. It's gotten really cold here lately and they're still working. I went through the different color settings and was surprised there were three levels of white- bright, medium, and warm, in addition to the colored settings like red, blue, etc. you could use for the holidays. This made it easy to match up the warm white to the other ones we already have, but since these fit perfect on another set of steps, I could see changing the colors during the holidays. I would even consider replacing the "just white" ones we already have with these so that I have the same flexibility on all the other steps. I'm really glad I branched out and got these.Update a few weeks later: These are working just fine like they're supposed to. They come on fine and stay on all night (as far as I know and I go to bed pretty late). I would recommend these.

These lights have very pretty color options, which I might switch to occasionally for a fun change, but my main priority was functionality—and they’re bright enough to safely light outdoor stairs. I was initially concerned that they wouldn’t get enough sun, but they charge well and work reliably. Installation was a breeze, and the size is exactly as described. For the price, these are an excellent value—similar outdoor lighting options in home stores are much more expensive. They also seem well made, and I’m hopeful they’ll last for years as long as the solar panels continue holding up.

These solar step lights do a great job! They put out a good amount of light and without being too harsh. There are different modes and I can switch between warm white, cool white, or vibrant colors for a festive touch. It was easy to install and I really like that no wiring needed, I just needed to mount it with adhesive tape. Also I like that they have built-in light sensor that activates at dusk and turns off at dawn. They have a durable build and they are waterproof. I like that they are solar powered and they charge during the day and automatically turns on at dusk.
