Have and electric coil furnace. These sequencers work great. Been using them for the past 26 years that we have lived here. Never a complaint. The furnace is a Chrysler Airtemp. Oringinal 1965 version. Still works, just without all the motherboards any fancy stuff. And I'm 67. That means this furnace was installed when I was only 7 years old. I miss the better days when companies made things to last. Dont you.

I would buy from this vendor again. The Electric Heat Sequencer was packaged well and even included an informative paper on wiring diagrams for interconnecting this device with other sequencers in a furnace.

I bought this item a few months ago as a spare, and today I diagnosed that the existing part was failing (contact arcing or intermittent when it opened causing my 24 year old Rheem RJMA rooftop package heat pump's indoor blower motor (IBM) to switch on->off->on->off->on->off over roughly 6 seconds). So I installed my spare, which solved this problem (now: IBM on->off). However afterward while paying close attention to shutoff delays, I noticed that the actual shutoff delay is almost 4 minutes (according to mfgr spec, max delay should be 110 seconds or 1m50s). Max temp today is 92F, but I suspect the sun beating on the rooftop unit is raising the temp inside where this sequencer is located. Mfgr spec max temp is 165F; I have no idea how hot the inside of my unit gets...Update a few days later: the timing being so far out of spec was bugging me, and after too much time spent studying the HP wiring diagram to discover another possible source of timing variation (to no avail), it occurred to me that maybe my thermostat was adding it's own fan post-break delay (even though in past reading of the manuals I didn't notice such). Today I consulted the user and installation manuals for Robertshaw 4220, and confirmed that no such delay was documented. However I observed its fan and cooling LCD panel activity indicators (which presumably reflect G and Y1 thermostat wire assertions respectively) during a run today (high only 87F), and found that the thermostat was adding it's own 60 second delay, with the newly replaced sequencer adding another 130 seconds after that. Still above max spec (110 seconds), but not egregiously so. Given this revelation, and my newly acquired awareness that spec delay on the (long gone) OEM sequencer part (42-21593-03) is 35-55 seconds, I am planning to disconnect the sequencer altogether and rely on the thermostat's 60 second delay alone; an additional sequencer-generated 2+ minutes of IBM runtime is at best wasting electricity and $$$.

installed on my 24+ year old Coleman evcon. perfect fit, a littler different than the oem so pay attention to the markings. 10-20 minutes back up and running. has been installed for a few months before writing this.old one wouldn't turn heat on all the time and just blow cold air forever unless the power was shut off and back on again.

Great item! The pins were bent due to not being wrapped and place in box. Everything was in the packing envelope but loses. All is ok. Thanks!
