I used this thermo-disk on a 12 yr old volgelzang wood stove they stopped making. They call themselves u.s. stove now. The ones from u.s. stove did not work, but this one worked perfectly. for those of you who are going thru this process of what to use, use this disc-even if you need to enlarge the hole in your stove a couple of miillemeters. The discs come in a couple of different heat ranges of when your fan starts and stops. The ones from the factory replacements actually do the opposite of what you want.

For what ever reason the 120 degree snap disc on my gas fireplace just wouldn't trigger the blower but his 110 degree one does.

I was replacing a malfunctioning fan control. The existing fan control was housed in a metal electrical box. The "ears" on the existing fan control (where the existing electrical wiring connected) were horizontal to the fan control. The replacement fan control (White-Rodgers Fan Control 3F01-110) came out from the fan control, then turned vertical. This change resulted in the fan control being tight up against the cover of the 4" x 4" electrical box. I had to install a 4" x 4" metal electrical box extension, then the existing cover, so as to provide adequate clearance for the wiring. It was not that big of a deal, since I happened to have a box extension in my collection of spare electrical parts. When I had looked at the picture on Amazon prior to purchase; it was difficult to recognize the layout of the "ears" for the wires, and there were no dimensions given for the height of the fan control. It took longer to go through my collection of spare electrical parts than it did to remedy the electrical box situation. Otherwise, it is working as it is to be expected.

Used this thermostat to replace a failed one in a wood burning fireplace insert. I'm not sure of the fireplace make and model. It was in an older house that I bought. The thermostat works great. The blower fan comes on after the combustion chamber warms then turns off as the fire dies. Good product.

Trying to attach to the refrigerator condensing tubes on the back. Using this as a controller for an extra cooling fan. Nothing wrong with temp range or it’s functionability.

I installed a fan in my gas fireplace and wired this in series to make the fan run automatically. It works great.

I install the sensor inside a solar pool heater. Works great. The heater turns on when the internal temperature reaches 140 degrees and it shuts off when it drops below 90 degrees. The sensor controls an electric ball valve, so now my heater is fully automatic, and not losing heat when it's cool outside

During the heat wave our trailer fridge temp couldn't regulate properly. With this little part it did the trick.
