The hour and minute hands had a protective film that needs to be carefully removed.
Keep clock hands parallel when assemble the clock hands, no collision
It is recommended to use AA carbon battery.
Do not tighten the brass hex nut too tight

Very simple to assemble, and I got two choices of hand styles. I chose not to add the second hand and it works fine without. After mounting on the wall, make sure to check the time against an accurate time after 15 and 30 minutes, because without a stable clock face it's hard to tell when it's exactly on the minute. After checking and adjusting the time twice, it's kept accurate time for months.

quick update: it's been a couple weeks and it's still telling good time. I set the second hand to the same second as my phone app and 1 month later it's only off by 5 seconds. I can live with that. :)I wanted a cheap clock for my garage. I found "license plate" numbers at a local hobby store on sale and purchased this clock movement.I was a little disappointed that the minute clock arms were bent . The box DID have foam padding and the mechanism and arms looked brand new, though the box looked like it was banged-up a bit.The arms are very thin so I bent them back.I thought about replacing, but I was excited to get this project going.There is no template for where to place numbers, so I just did some measuring and put just the 3,6,9 and 12 up using a level. I'm going to wait until I verify the clock is accurate then wait until 1 o'clock to place the 1, 2 o'clock to place the 2, etc.So far it's been 15 minutes and seems pretty accurate. And it's a garage, lol, so you can't really tell the arm was bent and even if you looked hard enough, who cares? It's a garage! 😉

One of the hands came slightly bent, but with gentle pressure was able to bend back. It works so I am not really complaining, but at the same time the metal is super thin and fragile.

Years ago we bought a large (22" glass diameter face) wall clock and eventually the quartz battery clock arm movement wears out. It was time to replace it again so I ordered the EMOON unit after trying two other brands without success. I easily took it out of the round metal container it was in (for folks wanting to use it for a clock face of their own design) and placed it behind the "antique" looking clock face I already had. Other reviewer complaints about cheap quality or flimsy hour/minute arms (they have to be thin folks with only one AA power supply) are wrong. In fact, these clock arms seem sturdier than several other types I've tried. GREAT value, perfect packaging (in a cardboard box and parts surrounded by foam rectangles), and very impressive hand movement. Instructions warn to use "carbon battery" (not alkaline) and I'm not sure why the electrical charge would be any different but I went to the Dollar Store and got HD AA batteries asadvised. A gold "seconds" hand even included as a bonus we never had before. THANK YOU EMOON!

Do not purchase! The clock doesn’t work. This is the second clock I’ve purchased. The first one stopped working after 2 weeks. The second one stopped after 2 hours. Look for a different clock and safe yourself some aggravation.

We are low on wall space and have several dividers up in the house, so I looked for a light, less obvious and modern clock that we could hang on one of the dividers. This couldn't be a more perfect solution! (It's actually quite beautiful, I stare at it all the time. ☺) I'm adding a pic where you can see that it's hung with a simple paperclip, it's THAT light. It keeps accurate time and is also near silent, and after a week we've only noticed the ticking once or twice (very faint).Thanks to other reviews we read before we decided on these, we knew to get carbon batteries. (News to us—now they're in all of our clocks.)Warning: be patient and use a gentle touch! Both sets of hands are light and flimsy, so make sure to not only be careful and follow the included directions, but check from the side to be sure there's equal space between the hands from top to bottom before and after you hang it. The hands are easy to bend, and we just barely had to adjust them once the clock was up. Given the price it's a GREAT value and we highly recommend.

Item was extremely delicate and flimsy and hands were bent on arrival. Unable to restore the item sufficiently to be usable so dumped it into the rubbish bin. Have bought this style of clock on four previous occasions from other suppliers and all have been acceptable. Not impressed this time.
