I have one I spent three years looking at them, gas stoves I mean. This is not a common stove sold for consumers. two 15000 BTU front burners and room for two (15") woks on the front row with space still available for back burner work. I that is not a common in-home stove feature. I found the unit heated up when put to hard use perhaps more than the old one but I can't tell as the start up on this one is sever a start up the name brand consumer contractor model consumer unit it replaces would have melted down during the start-up procedures. The start up instructions suggest what this unit is capable of. To complete start the oven at 450 deg F. and run for 20 minutes and then turn it up to broil past the 500 deg F. set point and run it for another 20 minutes. Yes, it gets warm about as warm as if it was cooking pizzas in and airport at 400 deg. 24/7. A casual infrared measurement on various areas found 100 to 118 deg. F.over areas near the back vents and around the burner controls but the thing is all metal but the porcelain in the oven. Controls can be operated but are warm and depending on the room temp the large handles feel hot to the touch. It does not impact operation of the stove. I find the range to be a hardy, sturdy unit for my home designed for use far heavier than I will demand and looks the roll. from the 50s to the 2050s. No electronics, no place that can't be cleaned, not smart, no timers not for daycare class room use but great at college.

It’s a pretty gas range, but when you use the oven the entire range heats up. The nobs, the top of the gas range, the sides. The longer the oven is on the hotter it gets to the touch. Called Empava twice but no one picks up the phone and no one returns my calls. Going to have to return it.

A nice working gas stove. It is built well, and it looks nice.
