Yes, it will work once it is installed but to date that hasn't been done yet... What 'works' is that it has that nice wide (long?) tab below the bead so sealant or butyl type sealant can be added to make a nice sealed seam... Once I get it installed I will take pictures and update this 'review'... I recommend it for your automotive restoration project but, make sure you order the correct color...!

Exactly what I needed for the pocket flares om my XJ. The flange part has ribs on it. Not for her pleasure, but to help keep the welt in place. Shipping was SUPER FAST! I think I got it the very next day after I ordered it. I would highly recommend this product and these people...
