Empire has outdone themselves with this hopper. It is great. First of all, the hopper was shipped only 2 days after I ordered it after asking for delivery between 5-7 days away to save money. Anyway, the hopper is amazing. It is durable, has a clear lid and takes 4 AA batteries. The hopper is a bit heavier than a lot of other hoppers but who cares? When it is able to feed 20 balls a second without a problem and without fail, I think the pros outweigh the cons. The hopper kept up with my response trigger, firing about 18-20 balls a second, without a problem. I shot no air nor did I chop any paint. This hopper is a must have if you have a limited budget and need something to feed paintballs into your gun reliably.

I first ordered this hopper for my invert mini and it fed perfectly and gave me no problems. I also recently bought a Planet eclipse etek 4 AM and it also kept up with the etek. I have been looking for a rotor and using this as a back up hopper but i have had no problem with it keeping up with the marker and it advertises 20+ bps which is plenty compared to the dye rotor which says it can get around 50 bps (which i havent seen a paintball marker go past 28 or 30 bps) so for a beginner to intermediate player this hopper is outstanding, great battery life, strong shell, perfect feeding and the sound activation is great even as just a back up hopper.

I purchased this e-hopper to use along with my new Spyder Fenix (2012) electronic marker, and this beauty doesn't disappoint. The Halo Too outperforms it's price on so many levels, while nimbly keeping up with capable, fast firing paintball markers in the mid level price and quality range. There are some drawbacks to using the Halo Too though, so let's go ahead and start with the features that set this feeder above other hoppers in the same price bracket. The good:Speed - The Halo Too can feed upwards of 20 balls per second which is more than enough for most electronic markers that general enthusiasts will use. It handled Ramp PSP from my Fenix with ease on speed setting 4 out of 6, and it could take even more if necessary.Jam resistant - After several hours of running, bumping, and spraying over 1,000 balls through my marker, the Halo Too didn't jam once or dry fire a single shot.Quiet? - My marker is quite loud to begin with, so I couldn't hear the motor over my shots, but I would assume it is quiet.Ruggedly Built - The plastic shell on this thing is very durable, and it took a beating during several rounds of high speed woodsball without showing any signs of wear and tear. The most I had to do was wipe the mud and paint off, and it kept on ticking.Sound Activated - I had zero issues with the sound activation function on this hopper even though I was skeptical about it at first. More expensive rotor hoppers use eyes, but this one works fine with the sound sensitivity set at level 3 of 6. Turning on the feed stack sensor also helped to keep it from feeding balls when the hopper got knocked around a bit on the field. The not-so-good:Disassembly is tricky - The shell is very rigid, which makes taking the Halo Too apart a bit of a chore. Since paintballs can leave residue inside the hopper, it is essential to keep the internals clean to prevent jams and undue wear on motor parts. Putting the circuit board back in the shell can be frustrating.Interface Panel - The on/off/programming button on the back of the hopper is just a little too basic for conveniently adjusting the hopper's settings. The instruction manual will help somewhat, but they aren't very intuitive. For example, the directions say to hold the button down once the green LED begins flashing, but I learned that you have to hold it down about 1.5 seconds after the unit powers on which sometimes occurs before the light flashes. I learned to deal with the oversimplified interface, but an LCD display will be a must for my next hopper if it requires this much programming.Stiff Lid - The lid is a little bit tricky to open in the heat of battle, but an after market speed loader would solve that problem.Capacity - The hopper only holds around 180 balls at a time, but my pods only hold 140, so this isn't really an issue either.Despite those few shortcomings, the Halo Too outperformed my expectations, and I know I will get plenty of use out of this hopper before I need to start looking for something more advanced. I would definitely buy this feeder again!

This is probably the best bang-for-your buck hopper on the market today. This thing can keep up with anything you throw at it. Never have had it unable to keep up. The sound activation works great and never skips a beat. The only negative thing is the programming. It is just a pain in the butt to remember how to maneuver through the "menu" which consists of three different colored lights in different blinking patterns. I have to break out my manual everytime. The good thing is, you shouldnt need to change your settings much at all after the initial setup. And I think mine is set to darn near defaults anyways.Great product at a great price!

Very good product for the price it works excellent it is a little heavy, if you are a player of few times like me, it works well, if you do not want to spend a lot of money, it is very easy to use and program you should read the instructions very well

Short Review: Good for those just starting and those who have been around for years.Long Review: First off, let's talk about the programming. The programming is medium-hard to work with. It's all about timing and counting lights. It's not hard, but very inconvienent. The good news however, is that the standard settings are perfect for 85% of what most people need them for. If you are playing with PSP3/NXL/Mill rules, the hopper keeps up no problem. If you are shooting a consistent 20bps, the hopper keeps up. You can adjust the settings on the gun and get a rate up to about 24bps but when will you need that much in legal play!?The weight is a little more than some very high end hoppers. However, with a 20oz co2 or a 68/3000 the loader is well balanced on most markers. (I've tried this combo on a DP G4, Proto SLG, Invert Mini, DP Fusion X, Ego10, DM7/8/9).

This hopper is great and I've owned 9 hoppers that I use for my planet eclipse sl94 marker i love the settings and anti jam freeway and I own a dye rotor ad it jams with this hopper I put over 15 cases through it and have not Jams ounce it also has voice activated but one annoying thing is to take it apart this hopper is great I say buy it and I personally like it better than a dye rotor but if u have a little extra doe$$ I say go with the valken vmax for $90

I bought this for my son & he thinks it's a fantastic hopper it's well made & quite sturdy the belt driven loader means no more jam's or burst paintball's. A bit of disappointment was that it didn't come with any battery's so you need 4 AA battery's so don't forget to buy some.

It is a great first hopper and good for the price. When I got it I thought it wasn't working but then I found out it was sound activated so every time it hears your marker shoot it feeds another to paintballs
