I replaced all 4 in my 2014 Camry when I replaced the spark plugs at 120,000 miles. It has been just over 2 years, and the cylinder #2 coil just died. The replacement will arrive tomorrow. I originally did all 4 thinking that if one died, the others were likely not far behind. This time I am only doing the failed coil. OEM cost about 6x the price, and since I have a 4 cylinder where they are so easy to get to, I am only going to do one at a time from now on. My only regret is that I wish I had kept the old good ones as spares. Live an learn. :)

I like the 'Easy to Install' option you get to review. Totally depends on the car and the bank of plugs you're working on. It's one bolt otherwise...Anyway. Have one that's about 3 years old with about 30k miles and one that's a few months old with about 2.5k miles. They're a fraction of the price of OEM coils and work just as well. Probably better since the OEM coils had major problems, hense why I've replaced two on a Toyota with less than 100k miles. They're cheap enough that you could buy a few extra to have on hand if one fails and still be cheaper than OEM. No brainer.BUY THESE

Ordered another one. The first one lasted just under 2 years. It is a fair deal since the cost is much less than OEM and it is very easy to install since it was on the front of the engine. I would not put this on one of the rear of the engine cylinders since a mechanic would be needed.

You gets what you pay for I guess. I don;t put a lot of stock in OEM for most sensors and electronics as there really is not much to differentiate unless an aftermarket provider uses really, really cheap parts. This was cheap so I took a flier thinking I would get a couple of years out of it. I only changed this single coil so it was easy to monitor. Around 5 months after install the venza started to throw intermittent misfire and air/fuel ratio codes but ran fine. A week or two after it hit 6 months, car started to run like crap and throw constant the codes constantly. Swapped this coil with another cylinder and the code immediately changed to the cylinder this was installed in. In my book $15-20 is not worth it for only 6 months.

It's been a week, error codes went away without issue. No funny sounds or smells. You are reading the same reviews I am. My car is 12 years old with 230k miles. If this supposedly has been known to break in 11months or 6k miles . . . then kudos to my car for lasting another year! And at $17 versus $60-110 for brand name ones, I can replace it annually for a while and be OK. This took a couple minutes to install, so quick you stop and wonder if you missed something so you start wiggling wires. It took longer to find the correct socket wrench, or check the codes after, or watch a you tube on what to do. Same would be true of any ignition coil I guessThat said my faulty ignition coil was in a rather accessible place. The back row of coils in the same car involves taking a lot of stuff apart and I might not get a cheap one.My two complaints, if any, are that in the rubber "chamber" that would surround he spark plug when you look into it the spring that touches the spark plug top was bent at 45 degrees and I worried if it would touch the top center of the spark plug. I guess it did.The other complaint is that the package comes with a little packet of what seems to be grease with zero instruction on what do do with that. I'm afraid to glob it into the ignition chamber as you pay $ to buy stuff to clean out ignition systems. I hate installing something then having an extra part. Perhaps it's just a piece of gum to chew on during installation.Did you notice the factory guy in the ad in the description looks like Prince Harry?
