I just needed a strap to go around a bunch of plastic totes to hold them together. All of the other ratchet straps were two pieces with large, metal hooks on each part that has to be connected. These have a single strap and a single ratchet, so you simply wrap the strap around what you want to bind, feed the end of the strap into the ratchet, and tighten. No problems!

These straps arrived as expected. They tighten and release with ease. I consider them more of a medium weight but they have worked well each time I have used them.

I bought a 2 pack of these ratchet straps. One tightened up fine, the other did not. However, BOTH jammed and required a screwdriver and needle nose pliers to force the release mechanism to let go. Be wary of these straps and consider others.
