  • Durability is superior for cars, trucks and SUVs; road salt, oil, and a host of other common under car contaminants will eventually destroy the rubber bushings on your vehicles, not to mention the weight and torque forces that typically compress rubber
  • Hyper-Flex replacement polyurethane components stand up well to contaminants that often destroy rubber and have been engineered to give longer-lasting performance and not compress permanently
  • Hyper-Flex is offered in a variety of durometers (firmness or softness), depending on product application; performance tested and race proven; used for all of Energy Suspension products that require a higher level of performance and durability
  • If you are modifying, building a new vehicle for scratch or restoring an old one, Energy Suspension's Hyper-Flex performance polyurethane should be the 'ground zero' focus of your present and next vehicle plans
  • Over two decades of in-house experience in innovating, engineering and formulating wide selection of polyurethane components for many different industries, Energy Suspension has qualified as premier manufacturer of the high quality polyurethane products

Dedication to manufacturing and developing superior products has established Energy Suspension as the most asked-for name in performance polyurethane components today.

These work great and fit well just as they should. Other reviews that are low because they complain of the car shaking are inaccurate because anytime you replace a motor mount with a poly bushing or even just the inserts it will make your car transmit more noise and vibration into the cabin. This particular mount did increase vibration at idle but was minimal compared to when I had mount inserts in my db2 integra, that thing with a/c on would rattle the fillings in your teeth. I also think you can potentially change how harsh it is by how much you tighten the large end with the 2 bushings since that is what compresses when your motor moves. Remember to buy the new stretch bolts for installation, if those let go because you reused your old one's you're probably not driving the rest of the way home.

After tearing a second flex pipe exhaust apart in my MK4 Golf (due to excessive engine rocking) I decided to figure out what I could do about it.These mounts are very cheap but yet still very well made. Changing them is a little bit of a chore because typically on VW's I've worked on the bolts that mount the engine mount to the subframe seize into the aluminium mount and therefore break off (at the head) when you try to remove them. This leaves the bolts still completely seized and grown into the aluminium - so be prepared to deal with that. After installing them - it's amazing how much better shifts are because the engine no longer twists and rocks in the stock mounts. The rubber isolators I took out of the stock mount had literally gotten as soft as Jello so it's not hard to see how it made such a difference. I doubt I will have to replace another flexpipe in the exhaust system. With these mounts being so much stuffer than stock they do transfer a lot more engine vibration into the car. Idle is actually the worst, it makes the car much louder inside. I would consider going a bit less tight on the inner compression bolt inside the motor mount to hopefully reduce the vibration transfer. The vibration actually has reduced significantly with them, at first it was actually quite loud at highway speeds but that has now completely gone away and now it's just idle and starting that's loud.I recommend these highly to anyone who has had flexpipe failures or is interested in improved shifts. If increased noise/vibration will bother you these aren't for you.

Entire car vibrates at idle. Probably good for performance vehicles, but not mine.

I'm happy with them but I asked if it came with grease before I bought it. Mine did not. Probably the best thing you can do to give the 2.0 jetta a little bit of pep.EditThe front most bushing(the cylinder one) ripped in half I found when replacing my transmission(unrelated to the mount). I have learned through research that this better left with rubber. You can find higher hydrometer rubber that will give you nearly the same effect but the poly can't handle the shearing force as well as rubber. The rest of the bushings in the mount are great with poly but like I said before the cylinder looking one should stay rubber if u don't want to do it again soon. I still like the product and use the strut mounts and some others. Also control arms have a lot of sheer force and mine are poly and have lasted 3 years so far.
