I have used these on a few civics that I have owned. Always worked for me and this time was no different. Follow the directions or watch a video. Easy install and firm without being too stiff. Much smoother than the 25 year old bushings in my 95 civic sedan. I can't wait to install some more energy suspension bushing in the car.

Super awesome bushings. Luckily my 98 coupe was extremely clean and rust free, so these went in with ease. It's a tight fit to get under the car on jackstands, but it took me less than 10 minutes. Was well worth the $12, possibly the best 12 bucks you could ever spend on a manual Honda. Shifts went from popsicle stick in a pudding cup to (what might as well be) a gated shifter. Never missed downshifts after this was installed and it also made reverse a lot easier to engage.

Being used to rear wheel drive, it hadn't really dawned on me where these bushings might be located and how much crawling under the car was needed to change them. The shifter on this Honda I just bought felt so sloppy that I decided to put in the effort, though. The old bushings weren't really visibly worn, but I could feel how loose and slack the mechanism was once I got down there. Word of advice: have a big right angle pick handy when you go to reassemble the linkage at the front of the car. The new bushings really tighten up the connection and make it a little challenging to get the bolt back where it belongs (even with the included grease applied). The pick helps line up the bolt holes, and there's limited room for tools in there. Night and day difference on my car once the job was done. Shifter was tight, communicative, but not notchy. Before these lovely bushings it was vague, squishy and actually a little hard to drive. If you care enough about how your shifter feels to be looking at shift bushings, buy these and install them.

Installing these is fairly easy. Totally worth the money! Stiffened up shifting and my shifter doesn't wobble while driving, power feels much more linear! Car stopped a lurching feeling when downshifting and accelerating and letting off gas. Well worth the money.

Tight fit as they whey should be. As expected needs the added lube and/or plumbers tape…helps these bushings glide into gear especially with a short shift replacement. Shifts are short and quick without effort. Zero vibrations and miss shifts are non existent. Feels like a gated shifter. Especially buy from again to keep in inventory. ðŸ‘ðŸ¼

This thing is a pretty sweet deal, it went in pretty good... I did have trouble with the larger bushing, but that was because the end piece where it slips onto was welded out funny when Honda built my car... As for its use, it works very well and shifting feels a little more tight...
