These are a perfect fit for JK series Jeeps and good quality. The only thing they lack is the plastic snap ring at the base of the boot. However, this doesn't affect their function and this product is the only alternative to purchasing an entire tie rod assembly to replace a torn boot because the OEM boots are not available separately from the stealership.

These fit perfect for replacing the factory dry rotted boots. The joints were not worn out and the tire store wouldn't leave me alone. They kept trying to sell me replacement joints when the only failure was the boots. I re packed the joint and these helped put some pressure on the grease pushing it back into the joint. Worked like a charm.

Use a set of these on my new drag link. they are a tight fit (which I like) because they keep the bushings from flopping over. They are made from a high quality Polyurethane that will last for years without degradation. Huge improvement over the flimsy oem rubber boot

I installed 4 of these to replace cracked tie rod and steering linkage grease boots on a 1997 Ford Ranger XLT. The OEM grease boot on my truck is the same for the tie rods and the steering linkage ball joints.Pros:- Easy to install. They slide on, and because of their slipperiness and flexibility, they popped into place as I tightened the ball joint castle nut.- They fit tightly against the ball joint.Cons:- The OEM boot has a plastic mounting ring on the wide end that is purposely designed to lock it into a cutout ledge on the ball joint. The Energy Suspension boot does not have that, so the edge of the boot actually pops out around this manufactured cutout on the ball joint. As a result, it's not as hermetically sealed as the OEM grease boot and relies on its elasticity to make the seal. Excess grease does leak out around the wide end opening. For this reason, make sure the ball joint is very clean during installation so that the new boot has a clean surface to seal against.- I loaded these with grease the same way I do other grease boots: Pump the grease gun until a bit of grease starts to squish out around the seal. Doing that with this seal resulted in plenty of excess grease that kept squishing out over the next week or so of driving. I crawled under the truck and wiped off the excess grease 3 separate times.I wish I could find some that fit more like the OEM style (with the mounting/sealing ring), but these are a decent substitute. I'll grease them and check them regularly to make sure they stay sealed.
