Why Should It Be Serviced?
When the water temperature sensor fails, the temperature signal displayed when the engine is started from a cold state is still the temperature signal when the engine is hot. The ECU cannot get the signal of providing an overly rich mixture and can only supply the engine with a leaner mixture (the signal when the engine is hot), so the engine is difficult to start when the engine is cold. In this case, you need to check whether the water temperature sensor plug is in normal contact or replace the water temperature sensor.
When do you need to replace it?
If your engine coolant temperature sensor has failed, you may notice one of several symptoms: your temperature gauge doesn’t move, your engine overheats without warning, your radiator fans don’t switch on, or they don’t switch off. How to Install Coolant Temp Sensor

Step:
1 Open Car Hood.
2 Locate Coolant Temperature Sensor.
3 Remove Lead Wire from Terminal.
4 Loosen Coolant Sensor.
5 Remove and Replace.
6 Torque Sensor in Place.
7 Reconnect Wire.
