This was my first attempt at any kind of brewing. A little hoppy for my taste. I was hoping for a Newcastle clone but this tastes almost exactly like Samuel Adams Boston Lager. It is lighter in carbonation but with a much cleaner finish. Very nice citris/pine flavor from the US Golding hops added at 15 minutes. If I was rating this solely on finished product flavor, I would give it 3 stars. But overall, the kit was packaged securely, the instructions were very easy to understand and follow for a first time extract brewer and I'm sure this tastes exactly the way they wanted it to taste.

Helped a couple of firsts time homebrewers make a batch of this English brown ale. It was really easy to do and everything was included including the corn sugar for bottling.

I bought this for my husband as he loves to homebrew. He found the instructions easy to use, all the ingredients were in the box. Everything was easy to mix together. The beer actually tastes pretty amazing. Not gonna lie. I’d definitely order more !

Just about to bottle, added Apple flavoring for a good hot summer brew. Kit came as described and was easy to brew up and to customize to fit ones taste. Even a novice home brewer can brew up some very good beer using one of these home brew kits!

I started out with these kits and they gave me the confidence to go into all-grain brewing and kegging. I still use them from time to time when I don’t want to brew an all-grain batch. Instructions are simple and easy to follow. You will need special equipment to use with these (not included).
