Haven't used it a great deal yet. Only have had it a few days. However learning what the different bits do, I am very pleased. 3 speeds to choose from. Very good value for the money. You can spend more,,,don't think you would get more.

I keep thinking this Cykelith engraving pen is going to break. I am hard on it. It goes out of true and starts vibrating wildly because I use it so much, and not always for things it is meant to do. I have a laser cutter/engraver and I mostly use the pen to sand soot out of assembly slots, smooth rough edges and shape things. I have even carved with it and used it like a tiny router. I also use it as a bead reamer and drill. It just keeps on working. The battery lasts a long time despite all of my abuse. I do have a big, plug-in rotary tool right next to me at all times when working, but I still reach for this little engraver first. Its quieter and easier. The one thing I truly hate about it is the tiny screw for changing out the bits. There has to be a better system! The tightening key doesn't fit very well. It either turns without moving the screw or gets stuck. My solution is to only use one bit, lol. I can use the other bits in other tools, but be aware that they have a very small diameter shaft so you either need the right size collet or an adjustable chuck. I also dislike that you have to cycle through the speeds to turn it off. Who would ever use this little thing on less than full speed? If adding an off button is too much of a bother, they should just make it one speed and be done! Sometimes I set it down while still running and drain the battery. It's really quiet on low. Despite the flaws and cheap construction, I am going to miss this little tool when I final break it.

It quit working after less than a month. I've barely used it and it's already broken. This has been the most dissapointing amazon purchase I've made. I'm still in the return window but it's too much of a hassle to return so I'll keep the bits and stencils and consider it a loss.

I wanted to engrave on wood but it just stopped working in the middle of my project. Didn't even have it a month yet. Not happy.

Product is easy to use and works well for a beginner. Comes with varies engraving bits and the battery charge lasts for a long time.

Worked well for about 5 hours. Today it won't turn on even after a full charge. When plugged in the light flashes to show it's charging but will not actually power on even after a full charge.
