Great fit for my shower/bath. Replaced a 30 year old corroded tub spout. I have a 4 1/2 inch long pipe from the wall. It is 1/2 inch copper pipe with a 3/4 inch outside diameter nipple. The tub spout screwed on easily! I like that it has a small notch out on the underside towards the wall. This will help with any leaks that may occur so that water does not run back into the shower wall. I originally had a 1/2 gap from the wall that was just filled in with caulk. This kit worked great! I made sure to apply caulking to the back of the foam piece and then caulked around the tub ring with a clear caulk for added protection. So far so good!

I really bought this to solve the problem of a too long inner pipe that left a gap at the tiled wall . This solved that problem and actually looks good too

After my first attempt at changing the spout only to realize there are 2 types of spouts-this one was perfect! This one is meant for the for the spout that does not have a small screw. I’m clearly a novice but I’m learning. Very easy to install and looks great. A 2 minute job (with the right spout)

in the specifications for this item it stated that there was a ball vale. there in none. i was looking for a ball vale to truly divert the water. this unit does not fully do so.
