We bought the extra large. It is well made and easy to put together. Adhesive on the back of small islands is different than what is on mail pieces and did not stick well. We used some double sided tape and had no problems after that. We love to travel and this was a great addition to our home. Highly recommend.

I love the 3D effect it has and the quality of the wood. It gives options for the type of wood that suits your decor. It's a good conversation piece and provides interest in the field of geography. Purchasing the flags will show the different areas of personal travels one has experienced. Installation was fun, but most importantly, more accurate with two people. I defiinitely recommend that approach. I'm more than happy this purchase. The only drawback is, more stickers should be add. I counted and followed the stickers number and location used in the illustration and had to alter the numbers on the last few pieces.

This is a beautiful addition to our home office! It’s a shame our treadmill has to be in front of it right now. Although, it is nice to see when I walk to iFIT around the world I can just look to the left and see where I’m walking! Unless you plan on staying in your house for a very, very, very long time I would recommend putting this together as we did on a board so it’s movable. It takes a long time with tiny pieces that ‘some’ are smaller than your pinky nail, so to move that in the future would be very hard if it was just on your wall! Not to mention, I think the pieces would break when prying them off. It’s kind of hard to get the little pieces out of the laser cut forms they come in, but they give you duplicates so that’s good in case you mess one up. Just take your time with those little ones. We used a backboard that’s 4’ x 6’ and we bought the large map. We ended up buying Govee strip lights for like $30 that were supposed to be NOT cut, but we cut them in the middle of the gold mark that runs every foot and they work beautiful with all the scenes working flawlessly! All in all this thing was a great couples project, my husband and I had a blast! And it’s quite the addition! We bought our own map pins on Amazon. The only thing that I don’t really like is their branding on Antarctica! It would be super awesome if they sent me that piece without their branding so I could replace it.

The package arrived expertly packed, layered in Styrofoam between each continent and major section, all in a cardboard flat-style box. This is real wood, with a fiberglass/acrylic backing. I think it's a 2-person job for this size (XL/OAK) but usure for other sizes.Take your time! Watch the video from the QR code that points to YouTube, on the instructions, it's worth it!Assemble Europe with Africa and Asia to form a large section, it's almost 1/2 of the entire thing in one piece. This is good and bad - bad in that when you have to mark your mounting holes you have a larger piece that you have to keep stable, level. Good in that you're literally almost 1/2 done once that larger super piece is hung up. In retrospect, I would have just started my initial hole marking with Europe, get my first two markings, then attach Africa, Asia, hang again and mark the remaining super section holes. I was off for 2 of my 10 first holes which is all the holes for the super piece (Europe, Africa and Asia). After that, the rest is very smooth - North America, Greenland, South American and Australia and all the extras (islands, ocean names etc.).Electrical / LED connects are very straightforward. My south American LED pins had a bent one, easily fixed with a flat head screw driver and once I plugged it in, it worked flawlessly. The remote is very cool too - it's touch-sensitive with a wheel for the colors, other buttons for on/off/brightness, mode and more.I have 1/2 of my country flag pins up and it looks great. The non-continent pieces (north/east/west/south), small islands etc. are all stuck to your wall with tape, while the rest is very secured with wall anchors. I was lucky, both my Europe and North America continents hit wood studs for extra durability. If you select "North American" plug style, you don't get a North American plug, you get an adapter to plug the two prong European standard into it and then plug the adapter in the wall. It's a large converter, minor inconvenience and I would not ding a star in the rating for it.It's only been a day and I've had a 1/2 dozen meetings and nothing but very positive comments - I love it, and so does everyone else apparently. I'm very happy and I do highly recommend this for anyone. My specific use case was for an office wall that my teams/zoom cam looks at - and it shows up phenomenally on camera!Tools you will need: Measuring tape, level, screwdriver or light power drill and drill bits (pilot drill bit, 1/4" drill bit and Philips bit, pencil and consider a laser level for nice straight visible lines to align to, and lastly...patience! I can't emphasize patience enough.

All I can say is that I support all the positive comments already posted. So, so many incredible comments from friends and family. This beautiful map, (medium size) is the centre piece of an office renovation I undertook for my travel advisor wife.Full respect and support for the Ukrainian family who produce these. An absolute delight to support them. I have no idea how that can produce something this complicated to manufacture, this well made and this amazing for the price. If you are considering buying one of these, don’t hesitate - click the Buy Now button now! I promise, you will never regret the decision.

Map was delivered within a few days. Instructions were clear and it didn’t take as long as I thought. I had contemplated mounting the map on plywood or some kind of frame so it would be easy to remove or transport, but I’m glad I didn’t. I love the way it looks. Friends have also complimented it. I would definitely recommend. (Map is the size medium).
